Real life stalking

oh man, that is creepy! I'm glad he was pretty harmless, but it's still scary. Kinda makes you wonder how they actually get a girlfriend, I guess they just hit on everyone till they find someone weak and desperate enough for creepy company that can't see through his phoniness. Cuz really, it sounds pretty phoney if you are telling every woman on the metro that she is the most beautiful, great sense of humor, etc. This guy is throwing as much shit at the wall to see what will stick. Ugh.

I guess the best rule of public transportation is don't make eye contact. Oh yeah, and make sure no one follows you. yikes.

wow, I don't know how u guys slept at night through all of this! Especially when he called up ur friend on the phone and told her he was still chewing her gum, wow! Major law and order material there lol.
[this is good]
I would have been very very spooked by that. Wow!!! The chewing gum thing? ew.......
What a creepy guy. Some of these people are just hopeless and socially awkward, but I wouldn't take my chances.
I had a creepy stalker experience as well. I was at my house and the doorbell rang and I opened the door and it was this older (50's) man who I had seen a couple of times around the neighborhood. He said he had just gotten back from

Some people march to the beat of a different drummer, but they don't have a clue they are. What a creepy situation.

Hi Panajane! What a surprise, I love your loquacious blog. You and the Eejit are always there to give me a fix of Panama when I miss it.... I think the last part of your comment was eaten by the cyberspace gnomes.... what happened next?
Oh man! Evil cyber space gnomes prolly thought I was junk mail. Anyways, the point was that the guy was delusional, had spoken to his brother about marrying me and even tried visiting me in my house twice. I was only 17 at the time and he was in his early 50's, besides the fact that he was an alcoholic. Dude was crazy. It freaked me out and for a couple fo months after I was afraid of walking my dogs at night and staying home alone. It shattered my feeling of safety. You have a great blog, I really enjoy it. Plus the fact that you have such awesome kitties (urraca is such an awesome name that I have decided to name my future pet Coiba or Palenque).
What a horrible story, Panajane. I can understand you were scared. It's SO much worse when things happen at your house... your safe place suddenly isn't safe anymore.. Good thing you got rid of him without any harm.

About the name Urraca.. One day at the hospital Paitilla I saw a kid of about 10 or 12 who was named Urraca... It was so funny to hear his mom yelling at Urraca to hurry up... I think these names are getting more popular recently.
Wow, what a story, Drude!
This poor guy, wandering around, creeping people out. And, it's too bad that we have to be a bit askeered of people like this, but we DO!

There's no way to know if they are harmless or not!
Yikes. You might have missed this story, but I had two guys from another company in my building who would find reasons to come into our office and talk to me. We reported one, and he said he was harmless and just trying to be nice. I do kind of believe that one. The other was more socially awkward so he was the one I most worried about. Creeeeeeepy. I was freaked out everytime I had to go down the hallway to the rest room in case I would run into them.
